We had a great time staying at this budget hostel. The location was convenient, with easy access to taxis and just a short walk to the MRT station. The smaller rooms with curtained bunk beds provided some privacy, and the rooftop kitchen offered a fantastic view of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the simple Filipino-style breakfast was a nice touch.
The cleanliness in the common areas could have been better.

The rooms at 1 River Central Hostel are simply amazing! They are elegantly furnished, making you feel like you are in a fancy hotel. The shared bathroom may sound like a downside, but it's actually not a problem at all – it's clean and well-maintained.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the shared bathroom setup, but others may not mind it at all.

I recently stayed at this hostel for a couple of nights and had a great experience. The nightly rate was incredibly cheap and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the Filipino-style breakfast and the location was convenient, with the Power Plant Mall and Guadalupe MRT station nearby. It was also easy to get taxis or 'jeepneys' right in front of the hostel. The rooftop was a nice place to relax and the small-sized room was great, offering privacy and amenities like a safety box and closet. The bed sheets smelled amazing and the room and bathroom were clean. a great budget-friendly option with a welcoming atmosphere.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
